You have two options:</div><div><br></div><div>1) Install M1 Python version. For example, you can download Python 3.9 or 3.10 from <a href="http://python.org">python.org</a> (and then use pip3 to install numpy/scipy if you need them), or use homebrew (brew.sh).</div><div><br></div><div>2) As a short-time workaround, you can run pro Fit under Rosetta, i.e. emulate it in intel code. To do so, open the Applications folder in the Finder. There, select pro Fit, and the choose Get Info from the File menu. In the window that comes up, check Open Using Rosetta, then restart pro Fit. You should now be able to link to an Intel version of Python.</div><div><br></div><div>In the long run, 1) is definitely the better option.</div><div><br></div><div>Hope this helps.
