[proFit-list] Gaussian Peak fitting

Dear ProFit users,

I have been using ProFit for many years for plotting, but I have never used
the statistical functions and I am not well versed in statistics. I have a
very basic set of data that I have binned to make a histogram, then
normalized the bins so that I can compare multiple data sets, and I need to
fit a Gaussian curve to these data. I am having trouble figuring out the
exact steps to take to accomplish this using ProFit.
