But let me add something for everyone, since you posted on the public mailing list: 
Proportional scaling of font sizes including sub and superscripts does happen when you change the font size of a text label in the drawing window using the “bigger” and “smaller” commands (cmd+ and cmd-). (We may improve the algorithm to make it more robust to large changes in a future version, though)
