I tried it on another Mac with Xcode 6.1 installed. I did a clean install of pro Fit 7 B4 and installed the example files. I opened your example plugin, did not change any settings and compiled it. It compiled successfully but did not produce the plugin because that Mac is still running 10.9.5 and the OS X Development Target was set to 10.10. I then set it to 10.9, compiled again and got the binary. I loaded the binary into pro Fit and got the same result:

File 'example.fitplugin':
NO FUNCTION OR PROGRAM FOUND.
